Every Sentence a Poem

It’s pretty often in my reading life that I’m struck dumb by the sheer artistry my favorite authors put into their prose. Whether this takes the form of some brilliant punctuation, an inspired metaphor, or even just a well constructed sentence; all things that impress me even more as someone trying to figure out their own style of writing. So, as a way to share some of my favorite bits of writing, and to maybe steal some tricks from the greats, I decided to create this series of posts breaking down great writing from whatever I’m reading.
